Teaching the Next Generation of Lawyer Leaders in a Time of Polarization
Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4
During this time of intense polarization, how do we structure the experiential programs we lead to welcome all students while addressing issues that are highly controversial and deeply controverted? How do we support our experiential faculty and staff who are facing or might face political interference? What have we learned from recent efforts to expand experiential offerings and better prepare students for practice? What models for expansion have proved successful, and what unexpected challenges have arisen? The Clinical and Experiential Law Program Directors Workshop will provide a supportive environment for experiential program leaders to engage in dialogue with one another on these and other challenges, plans, developments, and successes.
