How to Register

We look forward to seeing you at the virtual Clinical Conference, Wednesday, April 28 through Saturday, May 1. Sessions taking place each day between 11 am—7 pm Eastern/8 am–4 pm Pacific. Please note important changes to the registration process below.

Registration changes for 2021

This year only, AALS offered a school registration rate that allows all faculty and administrators from participating schools to attend the conference. If your school is participating in the rate, your registration fee is already paid and you will need to enter a promo code when you register to receive a fee of $0. See the section below for more information on promo codes.

Check the list below to confirm whether your school is participating in the school rate.

If your school opted not to accept the school registration rate; if you are with an international law school; or if you are not affiliated with any law school, you may register individually at a rate of $230—a 50 percent reduction from the rate for the 2019 in-person meeting.

Promo codes

If your school is participating in the school rate, you will receive a promo code in a separate email coming from AALS. You will be able to use that code to waive the registration fee for the meeting. Check the list above to confirm whether your school is participating. Please contact your deans assistant or AALS Registration if your school is participating and you have not received your code.

More details about registration

What is the payment process?

For schools participating in the fee: click on the “Register Now” button at the top of this page. Enter your email address on the registration site and enter your school discount code. Select the individual registration fee and click continue. The system will confirm the code and you will not have to submit payment. For schools not participating in the fee, pay the $230 individual registration fee as normal to complete your registration.

Who is eligible to register under the law school registration rate?

The law school registration rate covers individuals whose primary affiliation is the law school. This includes most faculty and professional staff at the school.

How do I register on behalf of my supervisor or register a group of people at the same time?

Once you register the first person, you’ll come to a page that says “Will you be registering any other attendees for this event?” Follow this prompt to access the registration form for your second attendee. Keep going through the process for as many attendees as you have. Each person must have a unique email address to register.

I’m having trouble paying by credit card. What do I do?

Please double check that you are entering your credit card number, expiration date, and other details exactly as they are on your credit card. Make sure that the billing address that you enter matches the one connected to your card. Also, contact your accounting department/bank that the charge is approved they are not trying to block the charge.

When does registration close?

You may register for the Clinical Conference through the last day of the meeting. However, we strongly recommend that you register by April 23rd, 2021 especially if you are paying as an individual.

When is the cancellation deadline for those who pay the individual rate?

Cancellations must be emailed to AALS Registration by April 21st, 2021. A refund of the individual registration fee, minus a $50 processing fee, will be issued to individuals who paid for their own registration. No refund requests will be honored after this date. Registration substitutions are welcome, and can be submitted up until April 23rd, 2021.
